The 2018 season was the first time since 2015 that there were no teams with losing records during the regular season that qualified for the playoffs
Final Regular Season Standings
The Sneaky Greek finally broke through in year eight and won Greece’s first divisional title with the only 10-win record in the league. The Kosher Nostra continued their winning ways in the North as they won the division with a 9-4 record, as Coach Rubs, the Soviets, Sloppy Joe, and the Ganja Farmers all had winning seasons en route to wild card berths. The Toll Booth and Q really took a nosedive this year, while Brock and the Law Firm couldn’t quite keep up with losing records of their own.
At first glance, this league was wide open between the Sneaky Greek, the Kosher Nostra, and Coach Rubs. All were putting up similar points and having average luck in regards to their opponents, but it turns out that transactions were what helped you in 2018. The three teams that made the most transactions each made the semifinals - although none of them were the one to win it all. What on earth were Stalin and Big Mike doing with 80+ transactions?
