RONA AND RUNNING BACKS

  • 2020 had arguably the most epic beginning of the draft the league has ever had, as the Sneaky Greek convinced Logan to take Mahomes #1 so that he could get consensus top pic Christian McCaffrey, who ended up getting hurt two weeks into the season

  • This was the 1st time since the 2012 draft that we had a QB picked overall (when Q picked Tom Brady)

  • Only 2 WRs were taken in the first two rounds combined, the lowest since 2013 when there was just 1 (Calvin Johnson, Round 1 by MileHI Manning)

  • 3 of Logan’s 4 picks in these rounds were Cowboys. No wonder he doesn’t win

  • Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers in Round 6, after guys like Matt Ryan and Dak Prescott had been taken. Cowboys Suck!

  • Stefon Diggs going in Round 8 to Big Mike was the steal of the draft. He led the league in both receptions and receiving yards

  • Round 8 in general was hilarious - Shaq Barrett? D’Andre Swift? Jordan Hicks? Gronk fresh off retirement?

2020 Draft Awards

Best Pick: Stefon Diggs, Round 8 by The Kosher Nostra. Diggs was taken after receivers such as TY Hilton, Baby Chark, Jarvis Landry, and Courtland Sutton. Diggs responded by leading the league in both receptions and receiving yardage, going 127-1,535 along with 8 receiving touchdowns in his first year as a Bill. Diggs also put up the highest score of any player during the championship game, catching 3 touchdown passes as he led Big Mike to victory yet again

Worst Pick: Christian McCaffrey, Round 1 by the Sneaky Greek. McCaffrey was the consensus number-one pick coming into the 2020 fantasy season, and it was not close regardless of format. Zack had pick two, and was dead set on convincing Logan - who had pick one - to take Pat Mahomes since ‘it’s a 2-QB league and you’ll be screwed without it!’ After much incredibly poor convincing, Logan finally caved and took Mahomes at 1, leaving Zack to laugh his way to stealing Christian McCaffrey at #2 overall. McCaffrey ended up getting hurt in Week 2 and played just 3 games all season. Coach Rubs made the playoffs. The Sneaky Greek did not

Most Incredible Picks: Had to have two this year, going to Q at the Round 1/2 turn taking Miles Sanders and Kenyan Drake. Neither were terrible picks coming into 2020, but still on the board were players like Nick Chubb, Lamar Jackson, DeAndre Hopkins, Aaron Jones, Travis Kelce, even his own Raider Josh Jacobs. I think the franchise was on autopick, but still. That’s how you finish last (spoil alert: they did)
