2017 CSFFL Draft

TERRELLE PRYOR, 4th round pick

  • A record amount of WRs are taken in the first round with 6

  • Melvin Gordon and Jay Ajayi, 2nd round talents

  • Q taking Derek Carr in the 3rd is very on brand

  • Terrelle Pryor in the 4th…

  • DeShone Kizer lol

  • Round 24 was full of sleeper picks - Robert Woods, Jared Goff, Marlon Mack, and Alvin Kamara all fell to the end of the draft

  • It appears we finally learned to wait until the last round to draft punters…except Nikki

  • Speaking of Nikki, she got great value with her last two picks - Witten made the 2017 Pro Bowl and Davis was a star rookie who finished with 96 tackles

POST-DRAFT ROSTERS

2017 Draft Awards

Best Pick: Alvin Kamara, Round 24 by the Soviet Union. Kamara ended up being a 2nd Team All-Pro this season as well as winning Offensive Rookie of the Year. Kamara led a dominant backfield for the Soviets that ultimately collapsed in the semifinal as per tradition

Worst Pick: Terrelle Pryor, Round 4 by the Law Firm. Remember when Pryor decided that he was going to play receiver and everyone was excited about his 1,007 yard season with the Browns (lol)? Pepperidge Farm remembers, and apparently, Any, Esq. was part of this crowd. Pryor finished with 240 total receiving yards on the year after signing with Washington. Players still on the board when this pick was made included Travis Kelce, Russell Wilson, Christian McCaffrey, Larry Fitzgerald, Davante Adams, and DeAndre Hopkins

Most Incredible Pick: Johnny Hekker, Round 20 by the Toll Booth. Far and away the earliest punter selected, Nikki bucked the trend by taking Johnny Hekker before the likes of Alvin Kamara, Jared Goff, Robert Woods, Marlon Mack, Sterling Shepard, and a bunch of IDPs that were still available. This pick must have paid off, however, as Nikki made it all the way to the championship game
