2011 Playoffs
1st Place: The Law Firm
2nd Place: Alex Smith For President
3rd Place: Commissioner Stalin
Semi Finals
The Law Firm vs. The Ganja Farmers - Team namesake Arian Foster had a big Week 16 to propel the Law Firm to victory, while the Ganja Farmers collapsed en route to just 85 total points. They may have gotten into their own supply before kickoff, and they also had Beanie Wells on their roster. Amazing
Commissioner Stalin vs. Alex Smith For President - Huge games from Michael Vick, Victor Cruz, and Wes Welker (not a joke) gave Henry a berth in the finals as each of those had massive games in Week 16 for the California-based franchise. Looks like Stalin’s combo of Rashard Mendenhall and Vincent Jackson couldn’t get it done. Shocker
Championship Game
The Law Firm vs. Alex Smith For President - In a matchup of what were surely two of the best teams throughout the season, Alex Smith For President put up the exact same number of points as they did in the semi final but came up agonizingly short. Maurice Jones-Drew racked up 169 yards on the ground in the loss, but Henry couldn’t find enough from Ahmad Bradshaw and David Akers to push his squad through. The Law Firm won the first - and to date, only - league title behind two huge games from Drew Brees and…Ray Rice?
