Commissioner Stalin
Commissioner Stalin runs the Soviet Union franchise and is one of the Founding Fathers of the CSFFL. As the league commissioner, Stalin keeps things running around the collective farm and ensures that all of the peasants pay their dues. This Hawaiʻi based franchise has been going strong since 2011 and will live as long as the revolution.
The Soviets are a perennial contender - missing the playoffs just one time in the league’s ten-year history - but are known for coming up short in the playoffs. A rough start saw the Soviet Union lose their opening playoff game in each of the first three seasons. They finally got their first playoff win in 2014, and capped off the first half-decade with the franchise’s first (and to date, only) championship title in 2015. The Soviets have maintained a hold in the Semi-Finals, finishing the last four seasons with three 3rd place finishes and a tough loss in the 2019 title game. Recent swings and misses have left the Soviets without a playoff berth and thus without a semifinal loss, so it appears they are due. One can only wonder what will happen this season
