Wild Card Round
Q vs. The Sneaky Greek - Adrian Peterson had over 200 yards on the ground to lead top-seeded Q to victory over Eleftherios, who couldn’t get the job done despite JJ Watt putting up 10 tackles, 3 sacks, and a forced fumble. The top seed rightfully moved on past the basement dweller
The Toll Booth vs. The Law Firm - Aaron Rodgers and Andre Johnson had big games that put the Toll Booth through to the semi finals in her rookie season, knocking off the defending champion Law Firm in the process. Guess Doug Martin couldn’t get it done for Any, Esq. as 4-seed Nikki moved on
Commissioner Stalin vs. Coach Rubs - In one of two major upsets in the wild card round, 3-seed Stalin fell to 6-seed Coach Rubs with Matt Ryan and Marshawn Lynch driving the Texan wagon. Incredibly, Stalin’s final roster included each of Ray Rice, Josh Gordon, Aldon Smith, AND Aaron Hernandez. Didn’t deserve to win, really
MileHI Manning vs. The Ganja Farmers - A division champ went stumbling to a 4-10 regular season team in the wild card round, as Eli Manning and Reggie Bush could not get it done for Ryan. Djavan saw Arian Foster, the star of the Law Firm’s 2011 championship run, lead him to victory with a huge rushing performance against the Colts en route to the semi finals
Semi Finals
Q vs. The Toll Booth - Top-seeded Q completely collapsed in the semis, putting up less than 100 points and allowing Nikki an easy path to the finals. Nikki still wanted to prove a point and dropped 166 on him, as Aaron Rodgers once again pulled through for her with another big game
Coach Rubs vs. The Ganja Farmers - A very close matchup here between two teams that combined for just 9 regular season wins, as Logie sneaks through to the semis behind, again, Matt Ryan and Marshawn Lynch. This was the first time a team with a losing regular season record advanced to the finals
Championship Game
The Toll Booth vs. Coach Rubs - Thankfully, the 4-seeded Toll Booth prevented the worst possible Cinderella run in league history from happening by putting up an unbelievable 184-point performance. A-Rod kept his run going with 4 touchdowns and her WR duo of Andre Johnson and Demaryius Thomas put up big points, but the real story here was Alfred Morris, who somehow had 200 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns to propel Nikki to her first - and to date, only - championship title
