2014 Playoffs
1st Place: The Kosher Nostra
2nd Place: HI-Life Ganja Farmers
3rd Place: Commissioner Stalin
Wild Card Round
The Toll Booth vs. Coach Rubs - Le’Veon Bell had 185 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns to help Nikki put up points, but Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray kept Coach Rubs right in it with a 179 yard, 1 touchdown game of his own. A rare showing by Peyton Manning that saw him toss 2 interceptions against 0 touchdowns left the Toll Booth four points shy of victory as 6-seed Logan snuck through to the semi finals
Commissioner Stalin vs. The Sneaky Greek - Giovani Bernard and James Jones weren’t enough to help Eleftherios win the first playoff game in franchise history, as they fell to the Soviets by a wide margin. The Soviets got a mediocre enough game out of Tono Romo and company to put the Greeks away for the franchise’s first playoff win after four years of trying
Semi Finals
The Kosher Nostra vs. Commissioner Stalin - Just a few weeks after his famous one-handed catch, Odell Beckham, Jr. put up a 143-yard, 3-touchdown performance here to give the Kosher Nostra just enough to squeak by Commissioner Stalin in a matchup of divisional rivals. Stalin got another nice game out of Tony Romo, but Isaiah Crowell and the funky bunch weren’t enough to pull out a victory. Top-seeded Mike won by a mere four points and advanced to the finals
HI-Life Ganja Farmers vs. Coach Rubs - The Ganja Farmers somehow had Jeremy Hill, who ended up taking over the week with 2 touchdowns and 148 yards on the ground to propel DJ to the finals. Coach Rubs, the 6-seed who had upset the Toll Booth in the previous round, couldn’t get enough points out of Justin Forsett and Jeremy Maclin to pull out the victory. Division champion Djavan moved on to the finals
Championship Game
The Kosher Nostra vs. HI-Life Ganja Farmers - The Eli-Odell connection came through again, this time when it mattered most as the Kosher Nostra rode their absolutely dominant performance against the Rams to a league title in his rookie season. Eli threw for 391 yards and 3 touchdowns - 2 of them to Beckham - and Mike pulled away to victory over the Ganja Farmers. Djavan’s RB combo of Jeremy Hill and Marshawn Lynch put up a valiant effort, but it wasn’t enough this week as the trophy headed to Wisconsin for the summer
