2013 Regular Season

  • The league retained its basic structure from the 2012 season, except only 4 teams made the playoffs in 2013 after the chaos of 2012

  • The 2013 Draft was the first fully-remote draft held by the league, due to the dispersal of league members from Oʻahu

Final Regular Season Standings

The 2013 season turned out to be one of the closest years in league history, as not a single team won 10 games despite a 14-game regular season. MileHI Manning won his second East Division title in a row with a 9-5 record in a tiebreaker over the Ganja Farmers, while Commissioner Stalin pulled one game ahead of Q for the first divisional title in franchise history with an equal 9-5 record. Q was able to win a tiebreaker over the Sneaky Greek, the other 8-6 team, for the final wild card position as the defending regular season champ returned to the playoffs. The Sneaky Greek was once again the odd man out, as he was the only team with a winning record to not make the playoffs. The Law Firm and the Toll Booth both stumbled to losing records here, and Coach Rubs resumed his place in the league basement at a very fit 4-10.

The two divisional winners - Commissioner Stalin and MileHI Manning - appeared to be favorites heading into the postseason. There was marked difference in points between the top 2 teams and the bottom three teams, and the real battle here appeared to be between the Sneaky Greek, Q and the Ganja Farmers for the two wild card spots. Eleftherios Socrates Plato Batydopolous became the odd Athenian out as he missed the postseason yet again.
